Here's a picture of my house on the cover of
House Beautiful
magazine. This issue was published a little over a year
before I was born. I guess it isn't such a good sign that
the article inside emphasizes how nice a home can be built
with inexpensive materials (probably explains why we're having
to replace the roof). Except for a few details, this view of
the house still looks pretty much the same. While standing
on the balcony shown in the photo,
one can get a nice view of Boulder, the University
of Colorado, and even Denver International Airport (on a really
clear day).
